BRIDGET LOVE APPOINTED ARTISTIC PRODUCER OF ARTSWEEK 2018.
Peterborough, ON –The Board of Directors of the Electric City Culture Council (EC3) is very pleased to announce that Bridget Love has been appointed as Artistic Producer of Artsweek 2018. Artsweek is Peterborough’s biennial festival of the arts and takes place next year from September 21th through Sept 30th 2018.
Ms. Love brings an extraordinary level of festival production experience to Artsweek, having developed and delivered events for the City of Toronto - including projects for Nuit Blanche, Canada 150 and Doors Open. She has curated and delivered a summer-long concert series for Massey Hall and Roy Thomson Hall, directed the planning and execution of multiple summer festivals at Harbourfront Centre and served as Programming Supervisor, Project Coordinator, and Artistic Associate for some of Canada’s most important arts organizations.
EC3 Board Chair Bill Kimball says:
“Bridget Love’s events management, logistics and artistic development skills will be an enormous asset to Artsweek which typically includes more than 100 artists presenting work in over 30 locations around the City of Peterborough. We are very fortunate to have her as part of the Artsweek 2018 team.”

Born and raised in Peterborough, and a graduate of the PCVS Arts Program, Ms. Love has a Bachelor of Music Degree from the University of Western Ontario and is an accomplished flute player.
