In May 2020, in the early months of the COVID-19 pandemic, EC3 brought together local arts leaders for a series of online roundtable discussions about the challenges local artists and arts organizations were facing and what they needed to meet them. Almost two years later, in January 2022, EC3 conducted a follow-up series of roundtables, again inviting arts leaders to discuss the status of their organization, the challenges they were facing, and what they needed to meet them. EC3 prepared a summary report and followed up with various initiatives.

There were three 1.5 hr. sessions, taking place over Zoom.

Issues and ideas raised at the roundtables helped guide EC3 programming to the end of 2021-22, and will continue to inform programming plans going forward.

EC3’s Executive Director and Board Chair later met with City staff to discuss potential municipal supports, presenting the results of the Roundtables to guide requests.
