Elisha May Rubacha
Poets of Nogojiwanong is a legacy project that seeks to connect our community to local professional poets. It was collected in 2024 as a Peterborough Poet Laureate legacy project.
Elisha May Rubacha is the co-founder, editor, and designer of bird, buried press, She was a finalist for Peterborough’s Outstanding Emerging Artist Award (2018) and shortlisted for the PRISM International Creative Non-fiction Contest (2016). Her poetry chapbook “too much nothing” was published by Apt. 9 Press (2018). She is currently writing a multidisciplinary book of poetry about her end-to-end hike of the Bruce Trail.
