Alexandra Box is an artist, arts administrator, and educator originally hailing from London, Ontario, by way of Vancouver. She is now proud to have called Peterborough her home for more than two years. Alexandra works in the role of Programming Coordinator and Research Lead at the Electric City Culture Council (EC3).
Alexandra holds a BFA (2020) from Emily Carr University in Vancouver, and an MA (2024) in Art History from the University of Toronto. Since 2022, Alexandra has served on the Board of Directors at Forest City Gallery, an artist-run centre in her hometown of London, Ontario. There, she has been the Chair of Policy & Governance, Vice Chairperson, and is now an Ex-officio member of the Executive Committee. Alexandra has also worked as an art educator at the Art Gallery of Peterborough and in various regional public elementary and secondary schools, on a freelance basis.
