Victoria Yeh
Victoria Yeh is a classically trained fusion violinist who recently moved to Peterborough. International reviewers and critics have compared her sound to the likes of Jean-Luc Ponty, Jerry Goodman (Mahavishnu Orchestra) and Ann Marie Calhoun (Steve Vai). Victoria has performed across Canada from coast-to-coast-to-coast as a contemporary solo artist, band member, and orchestral Concertmaster and soloist. She currently performs with her original band, the Spirit Awakens, Toronto's jazz-fusion band Paul DeLong’s ONE WORD, Collingwood's Shipyard Kitchen Party, prog fusion band Art Griffin's Sound Chaser, jazz duo Victoria Yeh & Mike Graham, and has served as Concertmaster for various symphony orchestras.
In addition to her active performance career, Victoria is a concert producer, film composer, and a sought after studio musician with recording credits on Netflix, TVO, Hallmark Channel and various indie albums. Victoria is a devoted and award winning violin teacher with a particular focus on foundational technique and improvisation.
Victoria joins the board at EC3 with a wealth of experience and perspective touring throughout Ontario post-covid and seeing first hand how the cultural landscape has evolved. She also comes to this new position with over a decade of past experience working for multinational companies as a financial analyst, account executive and public relations manager. Victoria also worked as an audit assistant for the Auditor General of Canada while earning a Bilingual Bachelor of Commerce (accounting and economics) from the University of Alberta.
