The Canadian Coalition for the Arts is a non-partisan advocacy organization that supports the arts all across Canada. CCA organizes the arts community with initiatives like this one as part of pre-budget discussions, or whenever an issue or piece of legislation is of importance or concern to the arts community. EC3 is a member of the CCA and we urge you to read this material and follow up with an email or other communication to your MP, the Minister of Canadian Heritage and the Prime Minister and Finance Minister. This is going to be a very tough budget, and the case for the arts needs to be made loud and clear.
For more information on the campaign see here.
