Peterborough Arts Awards 2024

The Electric City Culture Council (EC3) is pleased to announce the finalists for the 2024 Peterborough Arts Awards, which will be presented at the Celebration of the Arts on June 12, 2025, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at the Canadian Canoe Museum (2077 Ashburnham Dr.).

The Peterborough Arts Awards were established to honour and recognize excellence and outstanding achievement by professional artists, arts organizations, and arts supporters living and working in our city and county. Awards are presented in six categories, with cash awards of $2,000 for each winner, and two runner-up prizes of $250 in each category. The shortlist and winners are selected by a peer jury, from a multi-disciplinary pool of nominated candidates.

Award winners will be announced at the Celebration of the Arts on June 12, 2025, at 5:00pm to 7:00pm at the Canadian Canoe Museum (2077 Ashburnham Dr.), a delightful ‘cinq à sept’ event with canapes and cocktails, featuring pop-up performances by some of the city’s best artists and a keynote address by our distinguished Guest Speaker, acclaimed musician and Ontario Arts Council Board member Missy Knott.
